Kaunas ima zelo lepo glavno ulico starega mesta s trgi, cerkvami in množico lokalčkov in trgovinic. Sprehod ob reki je zelo prijeten, slikovite stavbe ga še polepšajo. Je izredno čisto mesto, vsako jutro ga čistijo, nikjer ne vidiš niti papirčka ali ogorka na tleh. Ima nekaj prelepih modernih skulptur v parkih, je mirno in prijetno mesto. Dva dni sva bila tam in je čisto dovolj, da si ga ogledaš, pred potjo naprej po baltskih državah.janjaSlovenija
