The hotel is beautiful. Very old, possibly tudor. The food we had in the bar the day before was okay, and all the staff were super helpful, although the lady on the front desk did have rather a passive aggressive threatening tone in regards to losing the key. "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T LOSE THE KEY" and mentioned it over and over like we're were children. A simple, "if you lose the key there is a charge" would have been fine... Assuming the guests were adults. The man on check out was jolly and chatty.
