The bathroom was antiquated. Even had initials scratched in the wall. Small toilet, too low to the ground, looked like an elementary school reject. They advertised on your site that the pool was open, yet the Health Department has it closed. Altogether unsatisfactory

we love Americus.
we love Americus. I went to school at the University and came for the Alumni festivities of the weekend. We will be back next year.!!!! We loved seeing all the people and watching the ball game. We loved all the new buildings and were remembering the past. !! The city was alive on Saturday down town with lots of people. I love how the shops keep things new and exciting and going. The music was nice too. We always love how the streets are one way. Giggles. But we have learned to manuever about well.

We were doing the Andersonville Trail.
We were doing the Andersonville Trail. Be sure to visit the POW Museum, National Cemetery and Little Drummer Boy Museum in Andersonville. The Telephone Museum in Leslie was very interesting. Visit Plains to learn about our 39th President. There is a museum, his boyhood farm, campaign headquarters, etc. Be sure to try the Peanut Butter Ice Cream! Americus has several old buildings that are amazing as well as the Headquarters for Habitat for Humanity. There is a lot of history in the area.

Nice little town.
Nice little town. Rocking on the front porch of the old Windsor Hotel while sipping locally-distilled Thirteenth Colony Southern Bourbon and watching the people-show on the main street was fun. After a great dinner in the hotel's elegant dining room, we walked down the tree-lit main street. We were surprised to find Jimmy Carter's handprints in the cement in front of an old 1930's-era movie theater. Staying in Americus for a night was an unexpected little mini-vacation.

Friendly people, quaint town, plenty of restaurants to choose from and enough shopping to keep me occupied while my partner was busy getting ready for hunting season.
Ruby Tuesdays, Ming Garden, Dairy Queen and Wendy's were the restaurants we went to, which were all good.
Shopping at Belks was wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.
I enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy, and my room was super clean!! the staff was amazing, super friendly! The guy that worked during the day was the most pleasant man ever! He went above for us!! The location was down the street from my family, so that was incredible!! I would definitely stay here EVERYTIME I COME TO AMERICUS GEORGIA!!
Overall the hotel is very good. Interior hotel looks excellent with decorations. The hotel room walls has decorative rugs.
The view of the inside and outside hotel looks impressive. The hotel reception area is good.
The bathroom was clean and well maintained.
We had a fine breakfast and enjoyed being in the diningroom and trying to imagine how it must have been in the
1800's. Our server was attentive and saw to our needs. We enjoyed the period furniture in the room and care has been taken to preserve the hotel.
Staff was excellent , the place was exceptionally clean and decorated fantastic. We ate supper great service and meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. Which we were surprised to get a hotel for the price you offered. Thanks
A classic historical hotel, with a beautiful wood panelled central lobby. Pleasant accommodating staff. We parked for free on the street right outside the front door. The hotel has quirky mix of architectural features.
Has microwave, mini fridge, tub, pet friendly, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, smoking rooms, hot breakfast, coin laundry, snack machine, pool (not open yet), DirecTV, Netflix and other app services to sign in.
The hotel seems old, the white towels and rags where dingy and was old. I was very happy with front desk they was awesome. Just I was expecting a more upgrade instead of all the old stuff.
Good location near Andersonville national historic site and Jimmy Carter national historic site. I’ll be heading west towards Vicksburg so it was a good spot to spend the night.
