The hotel and accommodation was excellent. Couldnt ask for more, the room was large, roomy and no expense was spared. The balcony was good and overlooked the sea. The staff were very good, nothing was too much trouble for them. It is easy to get to the beach, just down a short road opposite the hotel. You can walk along the promenade and there are quite a few restaurants and chiringuitos. Come back inland two streets and you will find shops and quite a lot of bars and restaurants. We will be returning next year.

Comparing to many other beaches in Alemeria, Carboneras was a very relaxing place to stay. Not over exploited, not too many tourists, nice sandy beaches to visit, lots of places to eat great food and really not expensive.

Very interesting little town. Some lovely shops and a super market on a Thursday. The fort is well worth a visit no charge at all for going in so very interesting and some fabulous old photographs. Everyone was so welcoming the tapas at all the bars are so tasty we didn't find a bar we didn't like

Beautiful town on the beach.
Beautiful town on the beach. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming in the sea was great. Market was interesting and fun to shop. Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Would go there again in a heartbeat.

Quite industrial at the southern end of the beach.
Quite industrial at the southern end of the beach. Generally the resort seems a bit “tired” and lacks any real appeal, in our opinion. At night we got badly ripped-off at a Moroccan owned restaurant be we walked into that situation with our guard down. That no doubt influenced our overall negative feelings about our short stay there. Anyway, we will not be returning there any time soon.

A little gem of a place.
A little gem of a place. Even thought there is a power station at the far end of the beach it didn't impose on us. The streets and pavements were very clean with lots of lovely Cactus gardens. Many eating places and bars which actually surprised us and staff were all so friendly where ever we went.
Maria and her husband were incredible hosts, we had the best nights sleep on our road trip through the south of Spain. I only wished we had stayed here for the whole trip. Sunsets were incredible, we slept in on day of departure and there was no problem. I would recommend this place to anyone, 20yards away from the beach which was dog friendly!! We will be back 100% . Maria and your husband thank you so much for being great hosts!! It was much appreciated
The room was comfortable & clean aircon working. The lady at reception was so helpful, she looked after us & allowed us to store our bikes in the garage no extra charge. We are touring on our bikes & needed to leave early (06.00) the Ladybank reception got up early to unlock garage so that we could get on the road. Anyone cycling should visit this hotel & area.
The property itself was lovey and in a quiet setting. The Breakfast was wonderful as it was very varied and the infinity pool was fabulous. The 2 hosts - Patrick and Anna were very welcoming and great to have a chat to. They supplied a nice list of restaurants to go to in Carboneras area and around.
The location is convenient and near downtown. Carboneras Castle, shops and restaurants are very close. The beach is not too far. Anything the typical tourist needs is at walking distance. Room rates are quite affordable. Breakfast not included.
Pleasant beachside hotel with bar and restaurant. Room was lovely and clean as was the whole place. Bedroom was a good size. Bed was a single and comfortable. Shower room was clean and large with all you need. Air con worked.
The hotel is outstanding. The building is beautiful, the staff were very helpful. Our standard room was nicely furnished, had a stunning bathroom, and a view of the beach. There was a good variety in the breakfast choices.
The El Trebol hotel is by far the most meticulously designed and maintained hotel that i have visited. The staff are helpful, courteous and immaculately turned out. Breakfasts are comprehensive and delicious
A fantastic place in Carboneras. Perfect for two couples or a family. Great facilities such as plunge pool on roof top deck. Everything you need is there.
Hotel and facilities were as expected for standard of hotel and price paid. Location on beach front was ideal and rest of town and restaurants were nearby.
