We absolutely loved this oasis of calm and peace . We went for 2 days and stayed for 2 weeks. Fabian, Swizle and their family are the perfect hosts. Beautiful tropical gardens frequented by tropical birds , have been lovingly and thoughtfully created to give a sense of peace . Immaculate facilities, with a variety of accommodation for everyone from chalets to deluxe air conditioned rooms.
As local residents Fabian and Swizle have a great insight into the town. Fabian contacted the local turtle conservation and liased with them so we could witness turtles hatching and being released as well as a mother laying eggs. What a privilege.
We cannot thank them enough for their friendship and all they have done for us.

Spacious comfortable room with small balcony and angled sea view. Older building with some character and communal areas to sit and chill out. Friendly staff. A short walk down small side path to the beach and that beautiful warm sea swim. Restaurant attached and plenty of other options and shops close by.

We loved the proximity of our beach hut to both the stunning beach as well as being very conveniently close to Sea Breeze Restaurant where we were looked after morning, noon and night by Thakur. Nothing was too much trouble for him or any of the other wonderful staff at Om Sai Beach Huts. After mentioning our love of mutton, the boss arranged for chef to make us the most delicious mutton meal which did not appear on the bill. Such lovely kind people. We had the best week ever. Facilities and food were truly fabulous. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. See you next time.

Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets. The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of. Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.LeilaFrance - 10Scored 10

South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and...
South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! It's directly at the beach and as a white woman I can go for a swim alone without any issues. It's a safe place for women who are travelling alone. The rooms are clean, big and with an attached balcony where you can get drinks or food as well. The owner and his staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. I'm sure I'll be coming again for a third time when I'm in Goa. Thank you so much for this nice experience:)

The highlight of the room was the open but still beautiful and private bathroom :) The place is filled with beautiful trees and the surrounding is just majestic.
