Everything was good location wise and stuff, breakfast was good but nothing special, it was clean and comfortable, the supermarket was around the corner, parking was great and €9 per night (you can immediately drive in to park on the territory), it was close to the centre, all the amenities and extras were there.

Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit

There were very many historical buildings and churches in Rouen - it is not just an industrial town. We had a one night stay on our way further south on a motoring holiday, but will happily visit again. It is within easy reach of London.
The hotel benefits from an excellent location for exploring the centre of Rouen, very easy to find and just off the ring road. It offers a small private parking for €8 per day. I was not able to pre-book a parking space, but there was space available when we arrived. Check-out at 12 is a plus. The receptionist spoke very good English, which helped as neither of us spoke French. The breakfast tables have electric sockets, so you can charge your phone in the morning. The rhubarb jam served at breakfast with pancakes was very nice.
We had a wonderful stay and if we ever travel back to Rouen this will be where we want to stay. The staff was so warm and welcoming and answered several of our questions. They were able to accommodate our early arrival and the rooms were so charming. The location is very near many restaurants, shopping, and we were able to walk to all of the main tourists sites we wanted to see. The breakfast was amazing. The coffee, the fresh orange juice, the croissants, etc... it was exactly what you think a French breakfast should be.
Excellent hotel, right in the old city centre of Rouen. While it is in the historical centre the hotel itself is modern and with all the care for detail and design as you would expect from Radisson Blu. The room was larger than expected, beautiful design, wonderfully comfortable mattress and pillows. The toiletries provided smelled awesome. There is a good breakfast spread available, could do with more veggies thou, and in the evening the hotel restaurant and terrasse are very pleasant.
The hotel is in a fabulous spot to wander through the old streets and buildings of Rouen and was exceptionally quiet for the location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly (apart from one guy at the bar who seemed to be having an off day) and although we were on the fourth floor with no lift we had a wonderful chap who carried our bags up the stairs for us as if he was Superman! The late checkout was great and the car parking available was handy and worked very well for us.
The hotel has one of the best positions in town, very convenient for someone who travels for pleasure on one's own, without a car. It's in the city center, right in front of the main train station (Gare SNCF - Rive Droite). The main tourist attractions are accessible on foot and one can also visit Rouen surroundings such as Giverny by train since the station is within 1 minute reach. Also, the area of the train station is safe and clean (at least during daytime).
Hotel location was excellent and has a clean and welcoming atmosphere. All Reception staff were superb and came out of their way to assist us by every means. The room was big and the bed was comfy and clean actually the best I had during my vacation. The walking shower and the water flow was very good. Our short stay at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Rouen was the best we had during our two days trip to Normandy.
This is a very good priced hotel on one of the banks of the river in Rouen. It was reasonably easy to find and the reception staff were welcoming. The room and apartment were spacious although we would only really want to stay 1 night so its a good stop off place. It is perfect for older people as it has lifts and is easy access. The pool is nice on the ground floor.
The apartment was spacious, beautifully appointed and comfortable in a classic wood timbered building. Our hostess Mariie Christine was so friendly, and accommodating, and her homemade cakes, crepes and jellies were great for breakfast. She was very knowledgeable about Rouen and gave great advice regarding sights to visit.
The staff is super nice, the location, the beds, the breakfast, the surroundings, everything was actually ideal. We arrived around 2:00 PM and were able to take a walk in a nearby park. Deliciously enjoyed. Top hotel, top staff and top location. Great opportunity to say goodbye to France if you are on your way to Spain.
Very comfortable hotel in a great location with warm and helpful staff. We didn't try the breakfast --we slept through it because of jetlag--but the restaurant looked lovely. The hotel was right by the train station, which was an excellent location for Rouen; perfect soundproofing meant that the room was very quiet.
A perfect location if you simply want to crash, sleep have a good meal nearby plus a good boulangerie very close. Bit of a walk into the city but recommend the Moroccan restaurant La Machacha 10 mins away. The hotel was new, well priced and friendly staff. Large bed with a view of the Rouen rugby field.
Good location if your are visiting Rouen by car. We were touring through Normandy and needed a good hotel near the center but not so close that overnight parking was a hassle. The Holiday Inn Express fit the bill nicely. Breakfast was good, it's an easy drive to the center of town. Recommended.
Great stopover on route to Southern France. The staff were welcoming and the hotel much better standard than expected. Great family hotel with toys for the children. Room was of a high standard, with robes and quality furnishings. Highly recommend.
Rouen was a really great city too!
Great location- just out of the fray but still close to everything. Safe. Quiet for sleeping. Well-decorated and furnished. Spacious. Had lots of character. Lovely, helpful host, helped with parking advice and accommodated late check-out.
Cheryl and her daughter Malika were wonderful! Our timing was way off, and they were so accommodating. I only wish we would have more time to stay in Rouen and the lovely apartment.
Great location to explore Rouen, just minutes away from all the main sites. Quiet, clean, stylish and comfortable hotel. Really helpful and friendly staff. We loved our stay!
Very close to Rouen centre, host was communicative and supportive. We were three men from the UK in France for a 5 day work trip - would stay here again.
The location of Mercure Rouen Centre Cathédrale is perfect for visiting the monuments of the old town, wandering in the streets and enjoying great food.
