Apartment was modern and functional. Clean and in the centre of the town. Terrace on the side of the bedroom too small and on a busy pedestrianised road. Downfall, no free parking and if you arrive on a Friday morning there is a market, so even worse. But that's not a huge problem in my book. I would recommend it.

I went during the off season so not so many people and the chalets on the beaches were closed, which I knew and which I expected so there was no disappointment there. The beaches are beautiful. The city center is quaint and there is a lot of activity in the evenings--people walking around, restaurants, bars, etc. The pier is lovely for walking along as well and there are several pedestrian paths that are along the sea. It was sublime I wish I could have stayed longer.
It was sublime I wish I could have stayed longer. Clean area. The Lungomare was very nice and the white sand beaches. We watched kite surfers for a while and walked on the beach. There was also the possibility of renting bicycles and going on a promenade. They have bicycle pistes on the lungomare. A lot of restaurants to chose from too.

Wifi did not work in my room
Wifi did not work in my room I called the desk multiple times. They said they would send some one up to check it out. No one ever came to my room. When i called the 4 th time screaming at them they said the man checkwd the wifi in the hall outside my room and it was fine. True BUT I wanted wifi IN my room as advertised. They never resolved my problem I asked sor a refund and got nothing. I definitely DI NOT RECOMMEND!

Typical Italian beach town - a very long waterfront dominated by pay-to-lay sun loungers and small independent cafe/bar/restaurants. The town centre, such as it is, doesn't really have any nightlife options but is perfectly serviceable for food shopping.

We liked the design of this hotel, but that's about the only positive thing of the whole experience. The Smeraldo hotel has 2 nice pool areas but is not servicing the pools with any drinks or snacks which a standard service provided by all the hotels in the area, which is not to understand. We furthermore like to mention that, the restricted opening hours of the hotel bar, from 17.00 hours to 23,00 hrs (on a Saturday evening, on the peak of the holiday season) we did not expect either.

Didn't understand the pricing tho. On the site it says it's free, then they said it's 10€ a day, then in the end didn't charge me after all. The rooms are very new, luxurious, well furnished, with balconies, very beautiful, comfortable. The room is cleaned every day. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well, a wide range of food to choose from.
